Canteen Australia donates 1000 bandannas BandannaThe hunter regional office of Canteen Australia donated 1000 bandannas last month for volunteers to take as gifts to orphaned children. Volunteers traveling to Cambodia, Philippines and Tanzania, will take the colourful bandannas to give away as fun gifts to the children and teenagers they meet throughout their stay.
Church Service ServiceOn Saturday morningthe 25th of November, OneMission team leaders were asked to share their experiences and speak out about the countries to which they would travel in just over one week's time. The congregation was also asked to contribute financially with one anonymous donor contributing $10,000 to the Cambodian mission trip.

Farewell to Volunteers Avondale college held a special service on Friday night 24th of November to recognise all volunteers who will serve overseas on various community development projects over the summer break. Over 60 volunteers were present at the service. In total approximately 80 OneMission volunteers will leave in the coming weeks to serve in Tanzania, Mozambique, Philippines and Cambodia. All those present at the service were encouraged to write a letter to the volunteers affirming their commitment to service. Each volunteer will receive their own copy of these letters in a bound book before their departure.
