> ONE MISSION BRAZIL

This December a team of 20 Students from Avondale College will be travelling to the Amazon. They aim to partner with ADRA Amazon to aid in the development of a community that has been 'forgotten by the world'. Without the ability to read and write, an income, proper sanitization, adequate medical facilities and electricity this community struggles to survive in the harsh conditions of the Amazon jungle.

Projects:

Agriculture
- the team will be working alongside locals to build a farm. It will be an opportunity to pass on skills necessary to overcome malnutrition.

Building
- a clinic that will be used to service the surrounding region.
- Several toilets that will assist in proper waste disposal eliminating disease.
- A library that will be used to teach locals how to read and write.

Health
- a team will be giving on going treatment to locals for the duration of the trip.

> ONE MISSION PHILIPPINES / SOLOMON ISLANDS

This December-January, One Mission will be returning to the Philippines and the Solomon Islands to continue the work they began 3 years ago. This will be both the third year in a row One Mission has sent volunteers to these places, continuing to build the bond and grow lives in Jesus. More details to come.
